Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to StrategyTake, a digital newsletter about strategy, business, and product or market moves.

1. The Service

StrategyTake provides free and paid digital newsletter content, including weekly analysis, paid deep dives, frameworks, and related subscriber communications. Content is delivered primarily by email and web access through Ghost(Pro). Paid checkout and recurring card billing are handled by Paddle Billing.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to subscribe. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate. You may not use StrategyTake for unlawful activity, abuse, scraping, resale, spam, or attempts to interfere with the service.

3. Free and Paid Subscriptions

StrategyTake offers a free subscription and a paid subscription. The confirmed paid price is $12 per month or $120 per year unless a clearly stated promotional offer applies at checkout. Monthly plans renew each month, and annual plans renew each year, until canceled.

Paddle may collect taxes, VAT, or similar charges where required. Your billing cycle, payment method, invoices, and renewal details are managed through Paddle's checkout and customer billing systems.

4. Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation

By starting a paid subscription, you authorize Paddle to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis for the plan you choose. You can cancel any time. Cancellation stops future renewal charges, but it does not automatically refund charges already processed except as stated in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

If a payment fails, Paddle may retry the charge. StrategyTake may suspend or downgrade paid access if payment is not completed.

5. Content Ownership and Use

StrategyTake and its licensors own the newsletter content, branding, layout, frameworks, and related materials. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to read the content for your own use.

You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link to StrategyTake. You may not republish full issues, share paid issues publicly, sell access, create a competing archive, use automated scraping, or distribute paid content to a group unless StrategyTake gives written permission.

6. Subscriber Feedback

If you send feedback, ideas, comments, or suggestions, StrategyTake may use them to improve the service without owing compensation, provided we do not present private personal information as public without permission.

7. Availability and Changes

StrategyTake aims to publish consistently, but publication timing, format, topics, features, and pricing may change. We may update, pause, or discontinue parts of the service. If a material change affects an active paid subscription, we will try to give reasonable notice through email or the website.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service or cancel your subscription at any time. StrategyTake may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, misuse the service, fail to pay, or create legal or security risk for the business, subscribers, Ghost, Paddle, or other service providers.

9. Disclaimers

StrategyTake provides analysis and opinion for informational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, or professional advice. You are responsible for your own decisions and should consult qualified professionals where appropriate.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, StrategyTake will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the service. StrategyTake's total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the three months before the claim arose.

11. Governing Law

The governing law and venue will be set once StrategyTake's formal legal entity and jurisdiction are confirmed. Until then, any dispute should first be raised by email so the parties can attempt to resolve it informally.
